A handmade product made from Saaremaa rose petals.
Rose jam is made from the petals of various rose varieties grown organically on Saaremaa.
The legendary Bulgarian oil rose has been used to give a characteristic delicious perfume and dark English scented roses to give depth and roundness.
To add a little tartness, we have added a dash of lemon juice.
Confectioners affectionately call our rose jam princess muffin jam,
but that doesn't mean that many a "beardy" man wouldn't enjoy it on Sunday morning with curd toast.
Ingredients: rose petals, water, jam sugar (sugar, gelling agent pectin, acidity regulator citric acid, 0.1% hydrogenated vegetable fat (sunflower oil), preservative potassium sorbate), lemon juice. Total sugar content 25 g per 100 g
Use: on toast, with curd, for decorating and flavoring ice cream and other desserts.
