Elderberry gourmet vinegar –
a flavoured vinegar with a strong colour and intensive taste is prepared from apple vinegar and from the berries of special edible black elder (some sorts have a strong laxative effect).. It is a good additive into different salty or sweet dishes (like zephyr, gingerbread glaze, dip sauce) and can also be used for pickles and dressings and for food colouring. Besides, it is also works as a prophylactic antibiotic.
